Two Wedgies, One Cup

I'm so sorry about that ⬆️

Reminder: ‘The Wedgie Scale’ breaks down wedgies in the categories of uniqueness (was it a 3 or free throw attempt?), game situation (did it happen early in the first half or in the clutch?), importance (playoff game or regular season?), and frivolities (any post-wedgie shenanigans or broadcast shoutouts?). Then we give it an overall grade on a scale of 1-5 Ralphs, named for the legendary Clippers broadcaster, Ralph Lawler, who originally coined the term.

WEDGIE NO. 11 | Nov. 14, 2025 | Nique Clifford (SAC-MIN)

UNIQUENESS: Sacramento Kings rookie Nique Clifford sticks the first wedgie of his career on a HUGE step-back three-point attempt. A real “welcome to the league” moment.

GAME SITUATION: Less than two minutes to go in the first quarter.

IMPORTANCE: R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Find out what it means to me. This was our fourth NBA Cup wedgie of the season. (And another one is coming below!)

FRIVOLITIES: Love Minnesota Timberwolves play-by-play announcer Michael Grady calling it a “rookie wedgie”; hate that Mountain Dew-ass green court. 🤢
