Great Wedgie Pace
Some judge dunks, we judge wedgies
‘The Wedgie Scale’ breaks down wedgies in the categories of uniqueness (was it a 3 or free throw attempt?), game situation (did it happen early in the first half or in the clutch?), importance (playoff game or regular season?), and frivolities (any post-wedgie shenanigans or broadcast shoutouts?). Then we give it an overall grade on a scale of 1-5 Ralphs, named for the legendary Clippers broadcaster, Ralph Lawler, who originally coined the term.

WEDGIE NO. 46 | Feb. 9, 2026 | Vít Krejčí (PHI-POR)
UNIQUENESS: New-ish Blazer guard Vít Krejčí sticks Wedgie No. 46 in Portland. “He’s officially a Trail Blazer now,” notes Blazers’ analyst Lamar Hurd. “He’s contributed to the WedgieTracker.com count, and he got a wedgie in his first week.”
GAME SITUATION: Late in the first quarter.
IMPORTANCE: Monster game from Toumani Camara — in a headband! — who scored a career-high 30 points to help the Blazers cruise to the 135-118 victory over the Joel Embiid-less 76ers. Portland finished 22-of-54 from 3-point range.
FRIVOLITIES: No NBA broadcast has more fun with wedgies than this Blazers crew, and as a result, The Wedgie Gods bless Portland with a bountiful return. This was the team’s fifth wedgie this season! Praise be to Donovan Clingan, Jerami Grant, Rayan Rupert, Time Lord, and Vit. You’re next, Scoot! I can feel it in my bones.
GRADE: John Hollinger wants to give this 5 Ralphs, but …
